The comparative costs of renting compared to owning may define the current trend. Prophesy for future home prices remains unclear, as big time earthquakes, wars, revolts and other world events are mixed with currency and inflation concerns. Debt reduction advocates may hold down home prices as interest rates and spending are impacted. All eyes remain on pended sales. If they go flat the 60 day price forecast goes down. If pended sales grow more prices firm up and can increase. Next month this time will provide important data to see a trend as 3 strong months can produce momentum.. I suggest you take a close look at it in mid May.
